When it comes to creating linocut prints, a simple relief printing process is followed, which requires cutting the surface of linoleum. The cut area remains blank, while the rest of the surface is printed black.
The linocut is printed using Van Son Rubber Base Ink (a world-renowned ink) on a duck egg coloured background, printed with hand-mixed Intaglio ink, on Mulberry paper. It is a fine Japanese paper that is considered vegan since it doesn't contain any sizing agent, wet strengthening agent, or aluminium sulphate and is mainly made of wood pulp.
DELIVERY:
Prints are rolled up in acid free tissue paper and cotton backed bubble wrap, and despatched in a heavy duty tube. Your order includes an insured and tracked delivery service which is generally 1 to 2 weeks from the day you complete you order.
